One Day In Hongkong

Victoria Peak (Tai Ping Shan)

Overlooking the Central district on Hong Kong Island, Victoria Peak (Tai Ping Shan) is one of the best vantage points for stupendous views of the harbor and high-rises. Rising 1,810 feet (552 meters), Victoria Peak is topped with the touristy Peak Tower complex of shops, restaurants and 360-degree Sky Terrace viewing platform.

Go for a stroll through the Victoria Peak Garden, follow one of the many nature walks on the mountain, and stay on for nightfall to see Hong Kong's spectacular nightly light show.

Victoria Peak is on Hong Kong Island. Whether you travel by tram or bus, the steep trip up to Victoria Peak is part of the experience. The Peak Tram leaves Central every 10 minutes or so from the lower terminus

Ocean Park

Ocean Park is the best them park that I've been to so far. It have a lot of thrill rides rather than Disney Land. And I am the kind of person who is not afraid of any thrilling rides. Thus, Ocean Park is for me! :D Let us now let the photos and captions do the talking.

They say, "Save the best for last", and I think we did. Our last day in Hongkong was the best - for me. I'm not that much of an adventure seeker but when opportunity knocks I open it directly though not as wide as others may opt to. This worthwhile adventure I had was at Ocean Park, Hongkong.

We already packed our things as we'd be leaving at midnight and left our baggage at the hostel reception area. Took the train, rode the bus and there we were, hurriedly lining up to have our CTS vouchers exchanged for regular tickets. And now the moment we've been waiting for, Ocean Park - was also our last Hongkong destination before bidding goodbye to fantasyland and back to reality.

The Avenue of Stars is also a good place to watch the nightly multi-media light and music performance, known as The Symphony of Lights every night starting at 8.00 pm. Spectacular fireworks displays can also be seen on special occasions.

Hong Kong Disneyland is located on Lantau Island near to the Hong Kong International Airport. It is a theme park assimilating the features of Disneyland Park in California and others. The theme park consists of four major themed areas, namely Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland, and each packed with thrills and spills to enthral tourists. Apart from these four areas, three further areas will be added by 2014, including Grizzly Trail, Mystic Point and Toy Story© Land. Each day, Hong Kong Disneyland has “Disney on Parade” and “Disney in Stars”, which is a fireworks show. At major festival seasons, like Chinese New Year, Halloween, Christmas and New Year, the park holds many special activities which attract hundreds of thousands of visitors either from domestic or international.

Totem Poles and Laughing Statues at Vancouver British Columbia

Vancouver has beaches. Lots of beaches. Many guys from distant tend to account Canada as a year annular arctic hell. That’s not the case, basically for Vancouver. The so alleged “California of the north” is abounding with acquisitive humans appetite to yield in as abundant Vitamin D as they possibly can during the balmy brilliant months. In adjustment to advice a acquaintance plan her accessible cruise to the west coast, I ample I should allotment my favourite beaches in Vancouver.

Stanley Park is home to a advanced array of monuments but there are none added visited than the totem poles displayed at Brockton Point. In fact, the totem poles are the most visited scene in Stanley Park in all of the century.

You will see the totem poles at Brockton Point, in the eastern bend of Stanley Park. Drivers will acquisition pay parking forth Stanley Park Drive, directly in foreground of the totems; walkers and bikers can go the totem in just 10 - 15 account from city Vancouver.

Imagine my abruptness last anniversary when we visited English Bay down in the West End of Vancouver and noticed these statues. We didn't apperceive annihilation about them but noticed the Christmas hats so we chock-full to airing about the bank and savour a hot dog from one of those abounding carts in the area.

There were some people about as well searching at these statues and artful their poses. Morton park is adjoining to the main beach breadth as you will apprehension from the background. The land were absolutely muddy and glace so you had to be careful of your footsteps unless you were wearing those appropriate non-slip blush crocs. I anticipate this place of the city-limits is the alone place were you will encounter Palm Trees. It looks tropical but you will have to get your winter clothing this time of year, or you will freeze.

Experience at Universal Studios Hollywood theme park in Los Angeles California

Last June 15, 2012, We decided to have a family vacation for a great tour in universal studios hollywood theme park in los angeles califonia. Getting in the park was so easy and properly signed posted. Getting the ticket is so easy and quick. $159 each for one day only so you need to stand for hours in queues.  This is the highlight of our trip. We arrived to early to enjoy theme park and it was so empty that time. No long lines. We tried the simpsons ride and it was great. We went on the tour and the tour was awesome. It was really fun and exciting. We also tried the Terminator, the effects were perfect.

Transformers was the best ride in the park, had almost 60 minutes wait time and the passes allowed us to walk past everybody. The kids loved transformers and jurrasic park but less impressed with the mummy.

Things we really enojoyed are the jurassic park water ride, water world show, kingkong battle on the studio, the shrek and terminator 3D.

It had a lot of 3D shows. long wait for some rides so I suggest to come early to maximized the day. The bus tour was also great and a lot more functional that Disneyland.

The kids liked the Simpsons ride which I have to say left me cold. This was disorganised and wait times, even with the passes were around twice the advertised.

The Shrek 4D was a great laugh and probably about one of best show.

Make sure you purchase the fast pass options- not cheap but better than spending 90 minutes queuing.
